 The battle took place in Germantown, Pennsylvania on Saturday,October 4,1777. The weather was 34`F on a foggy and cloudy morning, a perfect day for a battle. The battle started out harshly for the American forces the army had suffered defeats and the battle should be remembered because for all these soldiers who fought and suffered the fight. There where 2 comander’s on each side, on the American side where George Washington and Nathanel Greene but on the other hand the Britain comander’s where Lord Charles Cornwallis and Sir Wilhem Von knyphausen.
